Why Professionally Close your Pool?
In New England we have rough and sometimes damaging winters, Freezing temperatures and excessive snow and ice storms. This makes it extremely important to Winterize your swimming pool properly! Not taking this step can cause costly repairs and down time in the Spring. In our opinion there is only 1 true method of winterization and we call it "DRi-LOC" method
Shutting down your Pool Equipment
Inspecting and disassembling the entire system [Pool apparatus, ladders, hand-rails etc..] to prepare it for High-pressure air injection. It is extremely important, to remove all water from equipment and plumbing. Taking inventory of all the hardware and pieces to the system making it easier in the spring!
DRi-LOC
At "Aquatic Resources" we invoke an "Old school" Method of Swimming pool winterization! [by design the only true proven process] and coupled it with all the modern tech appliances winterization requirements to create "Dri-Loc" It is our way of guaranteeing a proper winterization [All Swimming pools receive all new winter plugs [no-exceptions]
Seasonal Cleanup
Its our advice to you that you spend an hour prior day to do a quick clean up of any leaves that may have fallen into the pool as a clean pool with stabilized better. [Leaf and debris removal is not included in pool closing]. We do include rinsing the pool filer elements. [if applicable]
Covering and securing the cover
The final step is to place your cover on the pool. We Love safety covers as they the most secure, however if is is a pool tarp and waterbags, we will do our very best to secure it for the winter. [Ask about our Season finale Savings for safety covers!]
